Time off
Request leave
Open Leave under My Workspace, or /my-leave.
The cards across the top are your balances, one per leave type your company has set up. Each card shows the leave type, the number of days you have left, and the maximum credits for that type ("of 15 days", for example). If no cards appear and the page says "No leave balances available", no leave types have been set up for you yet — ask your HR administrator.
To file a request:
- Select Request Leave at the top right. A panel opens from the side.
- Choose a Leave Type from the dropdown. The list is the leave types your company has configured.
- Set Start Date and End Date. The end date cannot be earlier than the start date.
- Write a Description — the reason and anything the approver needs to know. This field is optional.
- Select Submit Request.
Three things will stop a request from going through, each with a message explaining why:
- The end date is before the start date.
- You already have a Pending or Approved request that overlaps those dates.
- Your balance for that leave type is smaller than the number of days requested.
Your balance is not reduced when you file the request. It is reduced when the request is approved.
Your leave history
The table below the balances lists every request you have made: Date Requested, Leave Type, Start Date, End Date, Days, Status, Description and an Actions column. Columns can be sorted and filtered from their headers, 20 rows to a page.
| Status | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Pending | Filed and waiting for a decision. Your balance has not been touched yet. You can still cancel it. |
| Approved | Granted. The days have been deducted from your balance, and payroll will treat them as approved leave. |
| Rejected | Turned down. Your balance is untouched. Ask your HR administrator why if the reason is not clear. |
Cancel a leave request
While a request is Pending, an X appears in its Actions column.
- Select the X. A confirmation dialog names the leave type and the dates.
- Select Cancel Request to go ahead, or Keep Request to back out.
Cancelling cannot be undone, and only Pending requests can be cancelled. Once a request has been approved or rejected, the X is gone — talk to your HR administrator if approved leave needs to be withdrawn.
File an overtime request
Open Overtime under My Workspace, or /my-overtime.
- Select Request Overtime.
- Set the Overtime Date. It cannot be in the future.
- Enter Hours Requested. It must be more than 0 and no more than 24, and can go in quarter-hour steps.
- Select Submit Request.
Two rules to know before you file:
- You must already have a timesheet entry for that date. Without one the request is refused with "You must have a timesheet entry for this date before filing an overtime request". Clock in on the day first — see Time and attendance.
- One request per date. If you need to change the hours, edit the existing request rather than filing a second one.
The table lists Overtime Date, Date Requested, Hours Requested, Status, HR Remarks and Actions. HR Remarks is where the person who decided the request can leave you a note, so check it on anything that was rejected.
While a request is Pending, its Actions column has two buttons: a pencil to edit the date or hours, and an X to cancel it. Both disappear once the request has been approved or rejected. Statuses are Pending, Approved and Rejected, and they mean the same as they do for leave.
Approved overtime hours are picked up by payroll for the period they fall in. Whether overtime worked on a holiday, on a day covered by approved leave, or on a suspension day is paid depends on your company's payroll settings, so approval on its own is not always the whole story.
Check the holiday calendar
Open Holidays under My Workspace, or /my-holidays. This is a read-only view
of the same holiday calendar the administrators maintain, so what you see here is
what payroll uses.
Move through the calendar with the previous and next arrows, or jump back with Today. Two views are available from the buttons at the top right: Month, the usual grid, and Year List, a plain list of every holiday in the year.
The legend above the calendar colour-codes the three Philippine holiday types and states the pay treatment of each:
| Type | Pay treatment shown |
|---|---|
| Regular Holiday | 200% worked / 100% unworked |
| Special Non-Working | 130% worked / no pay unworked |
| Special Working | no premium |
The full rules behind those percentages, including how they combine with rest days and overtime, are in Payroll business rules.
You cannot add or edit holidays here. Missing or wrong entries are for your HR or payroll administrator to fix.
